A MULTI-SKILLED DESIGNER FOR THE WORLD OF CINEMA AND TELEVISION

 

Hi I’m William Warr. Having worked in the design industry for over 8 years I have developed a well rounded skill set across multiple fields. This includes aiding startups in finding their identity in addition to working with more established brands such as Netflix, BBC, HBO, Altitude, and eOne.

Improving my talents as a designer is important to me but I also take pleasure in learning more about indirectly related fields too. Taking courses in copy writing, customer journey mapping and social media strategy has helped me develop a more wholesome view of the industry which also helps when collaborating with different types of specialists.

Below you will find a full list of my design capabilities but on the odd occasion there is some downtime in the studio I try to keep busy by preparing case studies, updating content on our website, looking for new ways to optimise workflow and producing content for our social media. One thing I loved most about being in education was hearing a designer talk about their career. I felt inspired and much more prepared after having an insight into their world. Having been a designer for some years now, I enjoy any opportunity to help people entering the field. When asked to speak at schools and colleges as a guest lecturer in the past I've spoken about:
